Moonshot Projects

Here are our 'moonshot' projects-a short project in the last week of Term 2 where the children took a big problem or big idea and tried to solve it by going over and above. Projects included child poverty, cancer, pollution, animal cruelty and global warming....so the big stuff. The children were allowed to present their information in whatever they wanted-to best get the message across. Most chose a google presentation and a prototype model of their 'solution'. I was super impressed by the amount of effort and group collaboration put into these projects-many chose to stay in during morning teas/lunches and were coming to school early to work on them-during the last week of term! Yay Room 5, you are an inspiration!
